Humantech Launches Ergonomics Scholarship Program

ANN ARBOR, MI -- Humantech, Inc., an ergonomic workplace solutions provider, has announced that it is launching a scholarship program, which will assist qualified students in the pursuit of ergonomics-related degrees.

Through the new program, three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded each fall.

“We are excited to be able to create this scholarship program and further promote the field of ergonomics,” says Josh Kerst, vice president. “This is a new endeavor for us that compliments our existing student internship program.”

Scholarship applicants must be pursuing degrees in ergonomics, human factors, kinesiology, human kinetics, industrial engineering, or a related field; demonstrate a passion for advancing the field of ergonomics; have a strong academic background; and supply an example of an ergonomics issue that they resolved. The application deadline is October 15, 2007.  A panel of Humantech’s ergonomics professionals will evaluate the applications and award the scholarships by November 30, 2007.
