Launches Ergonomics Scholarship

ARBOR, MI -- Humantech, Inc., an
ergonomic workplace solutions
provider, has announced that it is
launching a scholarship program,
which will assist qualified students
in the pursuit of ergonomics-related
degrees.
Through the new program, three
$1,500 scholarships will be awarded
each fall.
“We
are excited to be able to create
this scholarship program and further
promote the field of ergonomics,”
says Josh Kerst, vice president.
“This is a new endeavor for us that
compliments our existing student
internship program.”
Scholarship applicants must be
pursuing degrees in ergonomics,
human factors, kinesiology, human
kinetics, industrial engineering, or
a related field; demonstrate a
passion for advancing the field of
ergonomics; have a strong academic
background; and supply an example of
an ergonomics issue that they
resolved. The application deadline
is October 15, 2007. A panel of
Humantech’s ergonomics professionals
will evaluate the applications and
award the scholarships by November
30, 2007.
