Munro's Safety Clothing Adds Wrangler Fire Retardant Line

Munro's has added Wrangler FR Cowboy Cut Original Fit Jeans and Wrangler FR Cowboy Cut Relaxed Fit Jeans so that people on the job can enjoy the same Wrangler fit and style that they prefer with the added safety and benefit of flame resistance.

Both styles are available in a variety of waist and inseam sizes and are compliant with the flame resistance requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269, NFPA-70E, and ASTM F1506-02ae1. The jeans are designed and constructed to remain compliant with these requirements throughout the lifetime of the garment through over one hundred machine launderings.

The specifications of both products include:
- HRC2 (Hazard Risk Category)
- ATPV 23.8 calories/cm2
- 14.75 ounce, 100% cotton broken twill
- pre-washed for a soft, comfortable feel
- Nomex thread for all seams as well as Nomex zipper tape

The jeans are also designed to fit over all makes of work boots with flame resistance labels clearly visible on the garments to make it easy for site managers and inspectors to ensure workplace flame resistance compliance.
