Publish Boy Scouts First Aid Field Guide

-- The Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) has announced a
new venture with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to provide training
resources based on their new Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and
Doctrine Guidelines.

Wilderness First Aid Field Guide and customized Boy Scouts
of America Wilderness First Aid Instructor’s ToolKit CD are
available now. These resources will be distributed by Jones &
Bartlett Publishers, the exclusive publisher of the Emergency Care
and Safety Institute.
The Emergency Care and Safety Institute will also deliver a series
of multi-day “Train-the-Trainer” courses to Boy Scout leaders across
the country. These instructor orientation sessions will provide the
skills and competencies needed to teach the Wilderness First Aid
program, as well as ECSI’s Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and
Automated External Defibrillation (AED) courses.

The Emergency Care and Safety Institute provides training leading to

regulatory authorities such as the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration and state offices of Emergency Medical Services,
Education, and Health.
