Scott SureSeal System provides better comfort and a higher fit factorThe SureSeal System utilizes a U-shaped seal that maintains a continuous circumferential seal
around the user’s face. This patent-pending Scott-developed design, called reverse reflex,
allows the SureSeal System to flex with every movement of the facepiece, resulting in a higher
fit factor and a more comfortable seal for the user. Additionally, a fifth strap improves sealing
capabilities by adding another point of connection to the smaller Kevlar® head harness.
The tightening buckles are thoughtfully placed so they won’t torque the seal and cause leaks if
over-tightened. The SureSeal System is available on all new AV-3000 facepieces and can be
retrofitted to AV-3000 facepieces currently in use. For more information, visit

GoatThroat Pumps will
soon be available in conductive
plastic models –
SCP-6500 PumpsThe latest pumping solution
for spill-free, environmentally
safe transfer of flammable liquids
is in production now.
The SCP-6500 Pumps will be
available March 1, 2010.
Featuring a lug with a grounding
wire on the front of the
pumps, and made with conductive
plastic, the SCP-6500
Pumps allow users of flammable
liquids to ground the
pumps, making them safe for
use with class 1 and class 2
flammables. All components
of this new pump which come
in contact with the fluid are
created with conductive plastic,
so there is grounding of
the liquid, the pump, and, with
correct bonding, to the container.
