edition
of

training
film
“Hydrogen
Sulfide,”
which
has
important
information
for
emergency
personnel

may
respond
to
an
incident
involving
the
poison
gas.
It
is
also
appropriate

hydrogen
sulfide
may
be
present
and
require
right-to-know
training.
“Hydrogen
Sulfide”
combines
realistic
training
scenarios

exciting
historic
footage
of a
hydrogen
sulfide
incident
in
Lodgepole,
Alberta
that
lasted
for
68
days.
Included
with
the
DVD
is
an
instructor
CD-Rom
with
extra
information
on
the
use
of
hydrogen
sulfide
in
chemical-assisted
suicide,

phenomenon
that
is
putting
communities
and
emergency
responders
at
risk.

Sulfide”
describes

response
procedures

spill,
leak

fire
where
H2S
is
thought
to
be
present.

provides

about

hazard
properties
of
hydrogen
sulfide,
and
explains
why,
in
spite
of

pungent
odor,
smell

be
relied
upon

detect
the
presence
of
this
poisonous
gas.
