Summit Training Donates $5,000 to ASSE Foundation

GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Part of Summit Training Source’s mission is to support research and education in the occupational safety, health and environmental (SH&E) field through donations for advancements in training.  To continue their efforts, Summit contributed $5,000 to the American Society of Safety Engineers Foundation (ASSEF) this month. 

The grant is part of a three year pledge for a total lifetime donation to ASSEF of more than $70,000.

Summit’s commitment to supporting ASSEF programs includes college scholarships, research funding, and professional development grants. “Summit Training continues to be a leader in the support and growth of the ASSE Foundation through scholarship donations, serving on our board and support of our annual golf tournament,” said ASSEF Chair Eddie Greer, CSP, OHST, STS. “Their generous donation of money and service allows us to make a difference in the lives of students and safety professionals.”
